On August 17th, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Bhuyan, the Director of International Affairs at Shanghai HuaDu Architecture & Urban Design Co., Ltd. (HDD) and General Secretary of the China-Bangladesh Friendship Association, was invited to attend the 7th China-South Asia Exposition and the 27th China (Kunming) Import & Export Fair jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province.

Dr. Bhuyan attended the China-South Asia Cooperation Forum (CSACF), where he received a warm welcome from prominent central and provincial leaders, including H.E. Mr. Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Yunnan Province, H.E. Ms. Sun Haiyan, Deputy Minister of the CCP’s International Liaison Department, and H.E. Mr. Liu Jinsong, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry. During the event, meaningful discussions took place, encompassing economic and trade exchanges, cultural interactions, collaborative efforts in charting a development path, and endeavors to foster even stronger partnership relations.

The 4th CSACF is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province with the theme Pragmatic Cooperation for Shared Development. Since its launch, CSACF has been serving as an important platform for intergovernmental and high-level policy dialogue conducted by multiple stakeholders who can engage in economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people communications and experience sharing.
