The project locates on a site of 2.5054 square kilometers, to the east of south Longchuan Road, and to the north of Weisan Road, in Jiangdu District of Yangzhou. The project is characterized by integrating modern healthcare with online medical service. The design adopts a centralized layout for a compact massing, to express the idea of an efficient medical center for medical treatment, rehabilitation, healthcare and research.

The site enjoys a rich natural resource of river networks. Thus the design uses smooth horizontal lines that represent streamlines in its façades, to respond to the surrounding river scape. The building masses follow a south-north axis and are terraced from south to west in correspondence with the landscape, so as to create a coherent and rhythmic skyline for the city.
